Homemade Cinnamon Chips Recipe

This is one of the yummiest recipes that I can make in a pinch. It only has 4 ingredient: oil for frying and then cinnamon & sugar, and a tortilla. I used a gluten free tortilla for this recipe.

Step 1: Prepare your tortilla for frying.

You can cut it however you would like. I prefer the classic wedge shape. But, if you like sticks that works too.

Step 2: Prepare your oil

Put just enough oil to coat the bottom of the pan.

Heat the oil on medium heat. You will know it’s ready when a crumb rises to the surface of the oil.

Step 3: Cook for a min. on each side or until it reaches your preferred color/texture.

Step 4: Place the finished chips on an absorbent kitchen towel or paper towel to remove excess oil.

1/4 cup sugar, 2 Tbs Cinnamon

Step 5: Combine 1/4 cup sugar with 2 Tbs. of cinnamon and then toss the chips in the sugar mix.

Make sure to tap off the excess sugar on each chip or else they make be too sweet.

Finally, enjoy them with your favorite beverage. These things are a crowd pleaser and seriously delicious. Try making them at your next social gathering. They are sure to be a hit. Happy cooking!
